A harvest window on day one
Pick your species, substrate and conditions and Primordia estimates when to expect pins and when to expect a harvest — then sets reminders for those days. Once you've finished a couple of grows of a species, the estimate retunes to your own pace.

PRIVACY BY ARCHITECTURE
What leaves your phone: nothing.
Most grow apps keep your records so they can sell you something later. Primordia can't. It was built without the machinery — there is no account system, no database, and nothing on our side that a breach could expose, because there is no our side.
NO ACCOUNT
Nothing to sign into
There is no sign-in screen anywhere in the app. Pro unlocks through your App Store account, never a Primordia one — we never learn your name or email.
NO SERVER
Nothing to send
Your grows, notes, photos and weights are written to your phone and stay there. Primordia has no backend, so there is no copy of your journal anywhere but in your pocket.
NO TRACKING
Nothing counted
No analytics, no crash reporting, no telemetry, no ad SDKs. The only network call in the whole app is the one that asks the store whether you've bought Pro.
ON-DEVICE MATH
Nothing to a model
Forecasts, milestone reminders and every insight are computed on your phone from your own records. No cloud model, no inference API — nothing about your grows is sent anywhere to be interpreted.
LOCAL-FIRST, NOT LOCKED-IN
Private doesn't mean trapped
With no cloud to reach for, Primordia works with no signal at all — a basement, a grow tent, a shipping container. And because your phone holds the only copy, backup and restore are free for everyone and always will be: the way off the device is the one thing we would never put behind a paywall.
The defaults lean the same way. Saving grow photos to your camera roll is off until you turn it on, because your camera roll syncs to the cloud and that should be your call, not ours.
